ATC furious over Musharraf’s absence, adjourned case proceedings

QUETTA- Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) expressed anger over the absence of former president Pervez Musharraf in the hearing of Nawab Akbar Bugti murder case and ordered his presence in the next hearing. The guarantors, who had ensured the court about Musharraf’s presence in the hearing today were also nowhere in sight.

Defence lawyer Zeeshan Janjua presented a copy of the medical certificate to the court and pleaded the bench to exempt his client from the hearing.

The Anti-Terrorism Court, thus, exempted Pervez Musharraf from the hearing today and adjourned the proceedings till September 8.
