ISLAMABAD: Islamabad has said that Kashmir is among the major issues between Pakistan and India and this issue occupies an indispensable position on talk’s agenda between the two countries.

This was said by the Foreign Office (FO) spokesman Qazi Khalil Ullah in a statement issued today.

He said that Kashmir is one among the major problems between Pakistan and India.

“It should now be taken towards resolution through reconciliation. Resolution of Kashmir issue is guarantor of peace in South Asia,” he added.

He pointed out that the agenda for Sartaj Aziz, advisor to Prime Minister (PM) on foreign affairs, visit to India is being set.

“India has proposed August, 23 and 24 for this visit , however, no final date has been decided in regard to Sartaj Aziz visit to India. Pakistan will give reply to Indian proposal this week,” he said.

He said that the issues including unprovoked firing by Indian forces on working boundary, LoC and Indian spy agency RAW interference in Pakistan internal affairs also figure in the talks agenda. Pakistan will provide evidence on the involvement of RAW in terrorist incidents in Pakistan, he held.
