Washington: Reacting to Afghan president Ashraf Ghani Pakistan has said, that itself is victim of terrorism and is committed to combat terrorism and eliminate terrorists.

This was said by foreign office spokesman Qazi Khalil Ullah, while talking to Voice of America. He was commenting on Afghan president statement wherein he had demanded of Pakistan, to take action against Taliban hideouts.

When asked about Afghan president statement about Taliban bases in Pakistan, Qazi Khalil Ullah reiterated Pakistan resolve to combat terrorism. Pakistan supports Afghanistan and Afghan leadership efforts for peace and reconciliation.

He said that Pakistan has focused attention on the points raised by Afghan president in press conference. Pakistan itself is major victim of terrorism and we have lost over 60000 losses so far on this count. Therefore, people and government of Pakistan can feel well the grief and anguish of people and government of Afghanistan, he added.
