Pakistan Peoples Party Opposition leader Khursheed Shah said the security agencies and National Action Plan has totally failed after today’s attack, reported Waqt News.
He was paying a visit to the Balochistan High Court Bar with Aitezaz Ahsan. He met with the lawyers and said, “The security agencies have totally failed the citizens of Pakistan. We worked so hard to make the National Action Plan after APS Peshawar and never wanted a single attack after it but it has turned out of be a total failure. Four days ago we had an attack in Quetta killing over 70 and today again there was an attack.” Shah insisted that it was unfortunate that ‘NAP was not implemented at all’. If institutions are weakened, people will to suffer its consequences, said the PPP leader
Khursheed Shah further said, Nawaz Sharif should be very careful as his enemies are surrounding him in the disguise of friends and they are biting him. It does not matter whether the government is weak or not. The state should not be weak."
Aitezaz Ahsan also said, "National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) is still not functional which was a very important point of the National Action Plan. Agencies are under the Interior Ministry why has it not questioned them on their failure?” PPP leader Aitzaz Ahsan said there were 20 points for national action plan but none of them were put into practice.
