Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has asked the returned candidates who won more than one seat of the national and provincial assemblies in the general elections to retain one seat and resign from others.

The commission has advised all such candidates to tender their resignation before taking a seat in the National Assembly or provincial assemblies.

ECP is all set to issue the final list of party position in recently held polls while it will also release notification pertaining to allotment of special seats to the political parties.
