LAHORE The Punjab Sports Board is organising the Chief Minister Punjab Sports Cup from December 14 here at different venues of the city. According to a spokesman of the Sports Board Punjab, the boys and girls competitions of the Chief Minister Cup will be held in three phases. In the first phase, the high schools contests will be held on December 14 to 18 in which football is the only event contested by the boys while volleyball, badminton and athletics will be contested by both boys and girls. In the second phase, inter-mediate competitions will be held from December 31 to January 4 in football (boys), volleyball, hockey, badminton and athletics. And in the third phase events of football, volleyball, cricket (boys), table tennis, basketball, badminton and athletics will be contested. He further said that all the arrangements have been finalized and all the venues have thorough been checked.
