KARACHI (APP) - Sindh Governor, Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan has said that Pakistan is countering the challenge of terrorism faced to the world and this war against extremism and terrorism is for global peace. In this war, the world should fully lend moral, political and economic support to Pakistan for it is in their own interest, he said while talking to two delegations of Netherland and Switzerland which called on him separetaly at Governor House. The Netherland delegation was headed by their Ambassador in Pakistan T.A. Reintjes while the delegation of Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs was led by Pierre Combernous. The British Deputy High Commissioner Robert Gibson also called on the Governor. Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad said that it will not be the success of Pakistan in the war on terror but of the entire world. He said extremists are taking advantage of prevailing poverty in the country and victims of poverty are easily exploited because of their helplessness. Even in such conditions, he said, Pakistan is a better country in Asia for investment as the cost of business doing here was lesser than other countries and consumer market too was wider here as against other countries and investors have the opportunities of earning profits. The Governor said that if western countries will invest here, it would generate opportunities of employment and a positive image will also build up for such countries.
