RAWALPINDI Chairman Mutahidda Jihad Council (MJC) Syed Sallahuddin, Thursday, said that the ongoing terrorism wave in Pakistan was dashing the hopes of Kashmiri people and freedom fighters who had been battling with Indian forces for long for the sake of freedom. The government should immediately halt the military operation in tribal belt (South Waziristan Agency) and hold talks with Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) as this is the only option to bring peace back in the country. He expressed these views at a press conference on Thursday. He said that there were some political leaders, religious scholars and intellectuals present in Pakistan, who could remove the misunderstandings between TTP and the government as they had some influence on both sides. The government might get their assistance for negotiations with Taliban, he said. If some organisation claimed responsibility of any terrorism act, it was not necessary that it might be actually involved in it. Sometime during the war, various groups admitted many activities just to show their presence in the battlefield. As far as I know Talibans strategy, they can attack any government official, but cannot even think to assault on the mosque, he added. Hizabul Mujahideen Supreme Commander said that North-Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) stationed in Afghanistan have lost war against Afghan Taliban and wanted a safe passage while riding on the shoulders of on Pakistan Army. He also asked the US to pull her forces out from Afghanistan immediately. Syed Sallahuddin said that despite opposition of US people President Barack Obama sent 30,000 additional troops to Afghanistan in a bid to save the credibility of NATO forces. Commenting on Indian involvement in terrorism activities inside Pakistan, MJC Chairman told that he had substantial evidence that 12 Indian camps were working in Afghanistan where Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) is producing some 2,000 young terrorists in each camp. He said that India already sent 25,000 to 30,000 trained terrorists to Pakistan for seditious activities saying the troika (India, Israel and US) craved to steal the N-assets of Pakistan. He said that India was using water bomb against Pakistan by constructing 52 dams on different rivers to stop water of Pakistan and change the country into barren desert. Sallahuddin told that in Indian Occupied Kashmir no development work was taking place in Muslim majority areas, Muslims are being deprived of the jobs while non-Muslims are being appointed on key posts. He said that PPP-led government also took U-turn on Kashmir issue as former President Gen (R) Pervez Musharraf did during his tenure. However, this could not shatter the hopes of freedom fighters and Kashmiri people and they were committed to fighting with India till their last drop of blood for freedom. In response to a question, MJC Chairman said Jihad in Indian occupied Kashmir would continue, however, it had slowed down as a strategy to save the public movement there. Responding to another question, he said that no Kashmiri leader was present in Afghanistan. He also denied the involvement of Kashmiri Mujahideens in Afghan war.
