LAHORE Additional IG Welfare and Finance Punjab Police Qalab-e-Abbas has started deducting Constable-Allowance, which was earlier being given to Punjab Highway Patrol as their salaries were not doubled last year, police sources said. According to them, Rs 4000 have been deducted from the salary of each police constable of the PHP. The move has spread panic among the PHP and the police officers of low ranks have expressed their severe annoyance.
