OUR STAFF REPORTER SADIQABAD - A carter, who was thrashed by three motorcyclists and their accomplices with clubs for not giving way, has succumbed to injuries in a hospital in Rahim Yar Khan. The attempt to murder case has changed into murder case against the accused. The police have arrested five of them but the remaining are still at large. Earlier, landlord Jamil Ahmad, a resident of Muhammad Pur Qurashian in the tehsil, got the attempt to murder case registered with the police. He said that carter Faqir Bukhsh was carrying the formers cotton from village Lashari to his house on his cart. Meanwhile, three motorcyclists namely Akmal, Manzoor and Abdul Hameed started abusing the cart vender, saying that he did not left the way for their motorcycle to pass. Then a clash erupted between them. Afterwards, they left the site, hurling life threats on the victim. When the vender reached near the complainants house, the bikers along with their accomplices - Akmal, Ajmal, Jam, Jamil Shahid, Ghafoor, Khalil, Badil Shabbir, Iqbal, Tariq, Shahid, Allah Diwaiya, Kahlu and Arshad - attacked the vender and his companions. Wielding clubs, the attackers bashed and critically injured them. The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital where Faqir Hussain has succumbed to the fatal injuries.
