QUETTA - A session court in Quetta adjourned the hearing of a defamation case filed by Balochistan Chief Minister against president of his party and member of cabinet Mir Sadiq Umrani. This interesting case of defamation was filed by Nawab Aslam Raisani against the claim of Sadiq Umrani that the CM had issued an amount of Rs 810 million to his brother Senator Nawabzada Lashkari Raisani. The chief minister had termed the claims of Umrani baseless and filed a Rs 1 billion suit. The counsel for Sadiq Umrani requested the court for time to submit counter affidavit. Accepting the request, the court adjourned the hearing of suit till December 24.
