My guiding principle will be justice and complete impartiality, and I am sure that with your support and cooperation, I can look forward to Pakistan becoming one of the greatest nations of the world”, stated Quaid-i- Azam, in his historical address to the Constituent Assembly. Such quotes really categorically show his real enthusiasm, love and affection towards the country.
Quaid wanted a nation, where every individual could get opportunities to live peacefully and where justice, equality and fairness would always prevail. But, such aspirants were buried. Nobody from civil and military government has fulfilled his dreams after his death. Corruption has been the most challenging nuisance that has caused the nation numerous ills. Transparency International’s Corruption Perception Index 2015 ranks Pakistan at 117th among 168 countries; as compared to India ranked 76th position. Owing to this menace, the rich become richer and the poor become poorer.
Is it not so painful that our ruling elites have offshore accounts of million dollars while the poor cannot even get food properly? Punishing corrupt leaders and bringing back black money saved in Swiss banks is the first and foremost mode of action. All efforts should be done to bring all culprits in the helm of justice.
