Woman along with three children crushed to death

JACOBABAD -  A woman and her three children were crushed to death by a truck near Mirza Shaakh (irrigation channel) at Shikarpur-Jungle road tehsil Thull of district Jacobabad, here on late other day evening.

DSP Arbab Ali Soomro told this scribe that four members of a family identified as Ms Zakia, 40, wife of Habibur Rahman along with her children identified as Adeebur Rahman, 15, Mujeebur Rahman, 8, and her daughter Humeera, 4, resident of village Dhani Bakhsh Pahore, riding on their motorcycle, were coming from Shikarpur when a fast moving truck collided head-on with them motorcycle, resultantly, all of them were crushed to death on the spot.

DSP further added that following on the information area police rushed the spot and apprehended the truck driver named Inaytullah Buriro and handed over the bodies to their heirs without having postmortem because their bodies were not able for postmortem as well as the heirs of deceased were not agreed to conduct autopsies.

It was said to be Habibur Rahman, the husband as well as father of deceased children, unconscious after hearing the horrific accident news of his family.

Later, they were buried at their native graveyard after offering funeral prayers held at their village Dhani Bakhsh Pahore. No FIR was registered till filling of this news story.

ONE KG HEROIN SEIZED

Excise & Taxation police claimed to have arrested two drug traffickers and seized one kilogram heroin from their possession at its check post at Quetta-Jacobabad road, here on Sunday.

According to reports, following on the information Excise & Taxation police intensified its checking at Quetta-Jacobabad road and during checking they signaled to stop a passenger wagon, it was coming from Balochistan to Jacobabad and succeeded in arresting two drug traffickers identified as Abdul Jabbar Dahani and Mujahid Dahani, both of residents of Balochistan province, and recovered one kilogram heroin from their possession.

A case was registered against them on concerned excise police department’s laws on the complaint of Excise Inspector Iqbal Ahmed Arbani on the behalf of state.
