LAHORE - Al Mustafa Welfare Society (Regd) has organised a free eye camp at Al Raza Free College at Ghaziabad here on Friday, says a press release.

Over 500 eye patients got treatment while 50 cataract operations were performed by highly qualified and professional doctors at the camp.

It is pertinent to note that not only check up of patients was free at the camp but eye-aids like glasses and medicines were provided without any cost while operations were conducted free of costs.  AMWS President Mian Khalid Habib Elahi revealed that this free eye camp has been set up with the active collaboration of NGOs like Help the Needy and Raf.

Khalid further said that poor eye patients were becoming blind as they had no resources to get proper treatments. But, he added, after treatment at AMWS free camp, now they can see all colours of the world. He further said that this free eye camp would continue in coming two days. On Saturday, the camp would be set at Salamat Pura while on Sunday, eye patients can get treatment at Baghbanpura, he added.
