Govt blamed for deaths due to drugs



SADIQABAD - A PPP leader has held the Punjab government responsible for over 100 people's deaths due to the administration of infected and poor quality drugs in Lahore.
"Because of the incapable Punjab CM, fraudulent persons connived with the health department officials to manufacture substandard and fake medicines and administered to the patients whereupon they died. The heirs of the deceased should file a case against the govt and bring them to book," Ch Jahanzeb said while talking to various people at the People's Secretariat situated at the City Pull in RY Khan.
The PPP leader said that the chief minister's claim of being a servant of the people had exposed, saying that the claim was restricted to just advertisements and papers. He also criticised the Punjab govt for opposing the federal govt's policies. He urged the people to take to the street against the govt for it incapability regarding the patients' deaths due to fake drugs.
