LAHORE–The Lahore High Court on Friday restrained the provincial capital police from harassing the owners of a pharmaceutical company collapsed in Hanjarwal allegedly owing to boiler explosion.

Orient Lab (Pvt) Limited owners Zafar Iqbal, Zaheer Iqbal and Zubair Iqbal contended that the concerned police officers were harassing them and their families despite the fact that Sessions Court had granted interim bail in their favour.

They requested to stop the police from harassing them and their families.

After recording initial arguments, Justice Manzoor Ahmad Malik directed the Lahore police not to harass the petitioners and their families. The court sought the report from the police till Feb 17.
