RAHIM YAR KHAN - A girl who contracted marriage against the wishes of her parents was abducted by her father and later put to death. She had eloped with her paramour and contracted court marriage with him.
Saeed Ahmed, the husband of the victim, told media that he was the resident of Chak 46 NP. He loved Farzana but his father was not ready for their marriage so they left the native village and contracted court marriage around one month ago.
On the day of incident, when he returned, he could not found his wife. His neighbours told him that his father-in-law along with two accomplices who were carrying guns abducted his wife.  When he along with police reached his in-laws house, Farazna was killed his in-laws, he added. The victim has appealed to the police to provide him and his family with protection, adding that they were being hurled life threats.
