ISLAMABAD - Punjab and Sindh entered the semi-finals after beating their respective rivals in the National Under-14 Football Championship quarterfinals at Pakistan Sports Complex on Friday.

In the first quarterfinal, Punjab thrashed AJK 3-0. Punjab strikers remained unsuccessful to take early lead despite domination in the first half. AJK goalie denied Punjab strikers from scoring with some acrobatic saves but Punjab forward Yasir scored just before the half time breather to go one up in first half.

Punjab netted second goal through Farrukh Siraj in the 52nd minute and midfielder Yameen completes Punjab rout by scoring in the 62nd minute

In the second quarterfinal, Sindh carve out comfortable 2-0 victory over Karachi Zone A. Muneer Muna scored first goal for his team in the 13th minute of the match and Shahzeb doubled the lead in the 26th minute. Despite controlling the entire second half, Sindh remained unsuccessful from scoring any further goal.         –Reporter
