FAISALABAD - A man committed suicide after killing his wife, daughter and three sons and critically injured his daughter and minor son of his relative here in Hilal Road area near Satiana Road over some domestic issue on Sunday.
According to details, 35-year-old Amir Saif went to the house of his in-laws to reconcile his wife 35-year-old Farah who had left her house over some domestic issue. However, she refused to go with him at which he flared up and opened indiscriminate fire. Resultantly his wife, three sons - 10-year-old Abu Bakr, 8-year-old Amar, seven-year-old Hamza and a daughter five-year-old Nimra were killed on the spot. While eight-year-old Farhan, son of Abdur Rasheed and his daughter 12-year-old Amna were critically injured and shifted to hospital.
Later, Amir Saif committed suicide by shooting himself dead. A large number of people gathered at the scene after hearing to the gunshots and screams. On information, the police rushed to the spot and took dead bodies into custody. Rescue 1122 shifted the injured to DHQ Hospital.
On the other hand, the incident created panic in the area and locals and relatives were witnessed burst into tears and were almost out of senses due to the dreadful incident.
