LONDON-Beyonce is apparently going to perform at the Brit Awards for the first time in 10 years. The Love On Top singer is rumoured to be signed up for a star appearance at the music awards event next week, according to The Sun.
It is believed she nearly sang at last year’s Brit s, but dropped out last minute because her material wasn’t ready in time, and that she is as good as confirmed this year but hasn’t been officially announced just to make sure there are no more glitches.
Beyonce recently appeared at the Grammys with husband Jay Z for their duet Drunk In Love, but her last Brits performance was back in 2004 when she debuted her solo single Crazy In Love after Destiny’s Child split. During her 2004 visit she also won Best International Female.
Other acts already announced for this year’s Brits are Katy Perry, Pharrell Williams, Arctic Monkeys, Ellie Goulding, Lorde, Disclosure, Bastille, Bruno Mars and Rudimental. The Brit Awards take place on Wednesday, February 19.
