PTI raps attempts to sabotage peace process

LAHORE  - The Punjab Pakistan Tehrek-e-Insaf on Monday held a meeting on the law and order situation in the country, particularly in the province.
Pakistan Tehrek-e-Insaf Punjab President Ejaz Chaudhry said the recent events of bomb blasts in Rahim Yar Khan, Karachi and Peshawar were attempts by the forces that did not want peace in Pakistan.
He said it was now evident that a third force was trying to create distrust and difficulties in the way of the dialogue by continuously attacking innocent people in major cities.
He said the RY Khan blasts at the gas supply lines showed helplessness and incompetence of the Punjab administration, adding there had been no gas supply to major cities of the province. He said the government had totally failed to resume gas supply to even the domestic consumers who were unable to cook food.
He said it was a matter of concern that during the peace talks’ meetings in Waziristan, drones were flying over the area, which indicated that the US was trying to sabotage the talks once again.
The Pakistan Tehrek-e-Insaf leader demanded strict action against all those forces which were trying to derail the peace process.
He also sought proactive steps to protect the gas supply and provide alternative sources to the poor people in emergency.
