An Anti Corruption Establishment (ACE) team raided the Govt Land Revenue Centre Daska and arrested three officials red handed while they were talking bribe from a Daska-based landlord.

ACE Gujranwala Division Director Rana Abdul Shakur said that landlord Ehsan Baryar had applied for getting computerised Fard of his land, on which officials, Ahmed Bilal (Incharge of this centre), Shehbaz (computer operator) and Sabir (security camera operator) of Govt. Land Revenue Department had deliberately wrote wrong name of father of the landlord. Later, they demanded Rs35,000 bribe for the correction of name. Under a deal, the officials took Rs25,000 in cash first and then took Rs10,000 in cash as bribe.

A special team of Anti Corruption Establishment (ACE) led by Civil Judge Daska Basit Abbas Chatta and inspector Rana Ilyas raided the Govt Land Revenue Centre Daska and arrested the three accused officials while taking bribe. Director ACE Rana Abdul Shakur added that the ACE has sent the accused behind bars after registering a case.
