An anti terrorism court (ATC) has rejected the bail petition filed by suspected terrorist Hamza Imtiaz having links with banned militant organisation Daesh.
Village Ranjhai-Daska based 16 years old Hamza through his counsel told the ATC Gujranwala that he was a 10th class student at Govt Boys High School Daska and has no links with any banned militant organisation. He said that he had been implicated in the case thus he should be granted bail.
The CTD officials claimed to have recovered a big quantity of the explosive material from the accused. CTD had registered against him and some other suspect terrorists, claiming to arrest them from Daska while they were planning subversive activities.
ATC Judge Imtiaz Ahmed listened to the arguments from the lawyers of the both sides and rejected the bail plea of the suspect terrorist.
PROJECT: The Punjab government has approved establishment of six wildlife parks at the district level in Gujranwala Division for providing the better recreational facilities.
The provincial government has directed the district managements of Sialkot, Narowal, Gujrat, Mandi Bahauddin, Hafizabad and Gujranwala districts to ensure finding of the suitable lands in their respective areas for the purpose in active consultation with the local elected representatives.
According to the acting Commissioner of Gujranwala Division Muhammad Aamir Jaan, the district administration of Narowal has selected 100 acres of land in border areas along the Sialkot Working Boundary for the purpose. He said that deer of different kinds, elephants and other harmless animals would be set free in these wildlife parks while the dangerous and harmful beasts would be caged there.
