ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court while restoring a petition seeking referendum on the Kalabagh Dam issue has ordered the office to fix a date for hearing.

When a three-member SC bench headed by Justice Gulzar Ahmad took up the case on Thursday, Watan Party chief Barrister Zafar Ullah told the court he had petitioned for holding referendum on construction of Kalabagh Dam but the petition was rejected as not pursued. He requested the court to restored the petition.
The court restored the petition and directed the office for fixing it for hearing.
