Veteran actor of Television, film and stage Qazi Wajid has passed away today. 

He was admitted to hospital yesterday after he fell ill. 

He was one of most senior actors of Pakistan who started his career from Radio Pakistan. He was considered among pioneers radio industry in the country. 

He worked on Radio for 25 years.

He was part of many memorable TV dramas including Tanhaiyan, Dhoop Kinaray, Khuda Ki Basti and Taleem-e-Baligha'n. 

Just like Late Moeen Akhtar, Wajid had also worked extensively with famous writer Anwar Maqsood. While talking to media, Maqsood said that Qazi Wajid was a man to remember. 

"He worked in my so many dramas and plays and he was a brilliant actor," Maqsood said. 

Furthermore, senior actor Javed Sheikh and actress Robeena Ashraf also expressed the grief on death of Qazi Wajid praising his work ethics and personality.
