The armed clashes between the two groups continued for the third day in the district Hangu of the North West Frontier province, which has mounted the death toll to 35 in the last three days of bloody fighting, while over 60 persons left wounded. Sources said that heavy and automatic weapons were being used in the fierce fighting between the two rival groups here, which has further resulted in 13 more deaths at different areas of Pass Qilay, Ganjiano Qilay and Hangu. Several shops and houses were also torched at Ganjiano Qilay and Pass Qilay in the fresh skirmishes between the two groups. Allama Khurshid Anwar Jawadi, a religious personality of the area has urged upon the government to take immediate measures for halting bloody riots and restoring peace in the area instead playing the role of a silent spectator.
