ISLAMABAD - National Highways and Motorway Police (NH&MP) has recovered two vehicles and arrested three car lifters. According to Press release issued here on Saturday said that Motorway Police received an information that a gray Suzuki Mehran Car No. IDC-802, Model 1989 has been stolen from the jurisdiction of Aabpara Police Station. On receiving information, all the patrolling vehicles of NH&MP were got alerted. After few minutes, the NH&MP officers SPO Qasim Iftikhar and PO Muhammad Raffiq succeeded in stopping the said car on Motorway M-2 Main Toll Plaza, Islamabad. The culprit travelling in the said car named Muhammad Irshad son of Muhammad Yaqoob, resident of Mardan, was immediately arrested. In another incident Motorway Police was informed by Sialkot Police and a Tracker Company that a Corolla car No. LED-1692, colour black, model 2007 has been stolen from Sialkot and as per tracking system the said car is moving on Motorway. On this information, all the patrolling cars of NH&MP were got alerted. The officers of Motorway Police SPO Haroon Wazir, APO/SG Iqbal Kahn and APO/Driver Shahid Ali tried to stop a black Corolla car on suspicion on Motorway (M-1) near Lakori. The two culprits tried to escape by leaving the car on Motorway. The NH&MP Officers arrested the two culprits while crossing the fence named Ghulam Mohuddin son of Abdur Rahim, resident of Akora Khattak and Sarab Khan son of Nazir Ahmed, an Afghan citizen.
