LAHORE - The Pakistan Railways has changed the schedule of all the Quetta-bound trains following the incidents of firing on the trains, officials said on Saturday. According to the Pakistan Railways Headquarters, all the Quetta-bound trains and the trains returning from Quetta, including the Express and Mail trains will pass through the sensitive areas during daylight. The officials have been directed to implement this decision with immediate effect. It is worth mentioning here that some miscreants opened fire on the Quetta-bound trains during the last couple of days in which several passengers and officials of railways sustained injuries while one railway official died during the firing.
