SARGODHA - Traditional annual hunting dog race was held here at the stadium of a local village 82/NB.

Over 114 rare breeding sprinter dogs from across the country took part in the event, while a great number of spectators also came from different provinces. The dogs struggled hard to get first position by capturing rabbits that were run in the race field and dogs were unleashed for chase to capture them that was running for their survival.

The racing tournament was arranged by the local landlord, Sikandar Ranjha, while former Sargodha teshsil nazim Malik Shoaib Awan presented his services as judge of the festival.

A great hustle and bustle remained the whole day and people amused to this traditional folk sport. The dogs namely Danger Man, Eagle, Kala Kambla, Chanbaili, Harry, Shera, Sada Bahar, Country Breed were declared winners of the race and awarded with prizes.
