ISLAMABAD - To evolve a joint strategy of all opposition parties, the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl has urged the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz to work together on different matters in the ongoing political situation.
“JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has written a letter to PML-N President Nawaz Sharif, purposing a joint strategy in the current situation,” JUI-F spokesman Maulana Amjad said Tuesday.
In his letter to Nawaz, Fazl said: “A joint strategy should be made for snap polls as if such situation erupted. There should be a mechanism about bogus voter lists for upcoming elections, independent and free and fair election commission etc.” “The PML-N is the main opposition political party so it ought to take other opposition parties into confidence,” the spokesman added.
