ISLAMABAD - A westerly wave is likely to reach upper parts of the country which may cause scattered rain and snowfall over the hills from Friday to Sunday, Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said on Tuesday.
According to MET analysis, continental air is prevailing over the country which will cause cold and dry weather in most parts of Punjab, federal capital, KP and Sindh during next 24-48 hours. Foggy conditions are likely to engulf plain areas of Punjab; Gunjranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Sahiwal, Multan and Bahawalpur divisions, KPK; Peshawar, Charsadda and Swabi and Sukkur division of Sindh from mid-night to morning.
