PESHAWAR - The activists of Pakhtunkhwa Civil Society Network Thursday held a protest demonstration against the killing of civil society members in district Swabi, and urged the govt to provide security to the lives and properties of the masses.“To express sympathy with the bereaved families of the volunteers gun-down in Swabi a few days earlier, scores of the Pakhtunkhwa Civil Society Network (Pk-CSN) gathered here at main Sher Shah Suri road outside press club. The demonstrators led by Shabina Ayaz, Ejaz Durrani and other senior members, were holding placards and banner inscribed with slogans in favor of their demands and against the killing of innocent volunteers.  Addressing the protestors, the leaders of the Pk-CSN said that provision of protection to masses is the prime responsibility of the govt. They also criticised the government for giving offer to ‘terrorists’ for dialogue. They urged the government that convening All Parties Conference is a good step, and now all the political forces would have to unite for a strict action. They also demanded of the government to compensate forthwith the bereaved families of all the affected in the terror acts.
