ISLAMABAD – Computerised meter reading will help to reduce the electricity complaints and dispatch timely bills to the consumers.

This is said by chief executive officer IESCO Javed pervaiz while inaugurated the computerised meter reading pilot project in G-9 subdivision Islamabad, says a press release issued here on Thursday.

The CEO Iesco further said that we have provided mobile phone sets to all complaint offices for immediate response and to redress the consumer complaints.

According to the details, Iesco has started a new computerised meter reading pilot project in G-9 subdivision by using latest technology. Then Iesco meter reading staff will collect the reading of electricity meters by the “Hand Held Unit” device which is a computerised machine.

By taking advantage of this latest technology the electricity complaints of Iesco’s valuable costumer will be reduced and the delivering system of the electricity bills will be improved and time can also be saved. The chief executive officer Iesco has declared that after the successful completion of this computerised pilot project, it will stretches to whole region for smooth working. All concerned officers of Iesco were also present during the visit of chief executive officers.
