LAHORE - PAF School for Special Education has been inaugurated in a special ceremony held at PAF Base in Lahore on Saturday.
Pakistan Air Force Women Association (PAFWA) President Shehla Tahir was chief guest on the occasion while Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Tahir Rafique Butt, who is also PAFWA Patron-in-Chief, attended the ceremony.
The new building which has been constructed within a year is specially designed to meet the educational requirements of special children. It has the capacity to provide high-tech education facilities to more than 100 special children of PAF personnel and civilians alike. The special school’s various sections include vocational room, physiotherapy room, doctors’ room, playroom and computer room which are provided with state-of-the-art gadgetries and equipments.
The eight-member faculty of the school is professionally trained in imparting quality education to special children and is well versed with the modern techniques and methods.
PAF Schools for Special Education is the project of Pakistan Air Force women Association (PAFWA) and is already running twelve such schools in various cities of Pakistan.
