Dance party raided; 33 held

islamabad - Khanna police have arrested 33 persons over their involvement in immoral activities in a single raid on a house here at Barma Town, the police said yesterday.
The police raided the house of one Muhammad Aslam where a dance party was in progress. The police arrested all the people present there except the owner of the house who managed to escape from the scene. Police conducted the raid after getting a search warrant of the house. The police booked Aslam and 33 others under section 371-A/B of the PPC.
Meanwhile, Karachi Company police arrested four dacoits and recovered weapons, snatched cash and mobiles phones from their possession, a police spokesman said yesterday.
According to details, SP (Saddar) Rizwan Gondal assigned the task to ensure arrest of dacoits and street criminals. A special team headed by SHO Inspector Mubarak Ali and others was constituted. This team nabbed four dacoits who were later identified as Farooq, Arslan, Bilal Hakeem and Faizan. The police recovered five snatched mobiles phones, electronic equipment and four 30-bore pistols and ammunition from their possession while police impounded a rented car (LU-315) and bike from them too. During the initial investigation, they confessed to commit dacoities in Shalimar police and Karachi company police areas, police claimed. They also revealed to be involved in purse, cash and mobile snatching incidents after hiring the motorbike and car.
