Swine flu claims two lives in Multan

Two women admitted to Nishtar Medical Institute (NMI) succumbed to swine flu, reported a private TV on Sunday.
While two more patients have been diagnosed as having Swine flu virus, taking the number of swine flu affected persons to seven. The management has set up an isolation ward in hospital’s ward no 27 for swine flu patients. Laboratory test of three females which include 53-year-old Shehnaz, 30-year-old Aqsa and three-year-old Azra have been sent to Islamabad for analysis. It is to be noted that swine flu virus mostly attack weaker and less immune people.

9 booked for assaulting mentally-retarded boy
ATTOCK (Staff Reporter): The police have booked nine culprits allegedly for sodomising a mentally-retarded teenage boy and filming the cruel act.
Ashraf Khan, son of Ghulam Muhammad, a resident village Toot told the police that his 15-year-old mentally-retarded son was sodomised Muhammad Laraib, Noor Abbas, Muzamil Shehzad, Amir Khan, Muhammad Irshad, Tayyab, Kamran alias Kamoo Jatt, Bilal and Asad, all residents of village Toot. He claimed that the accused had also filmed the unnatural act with his son. The Pindigheb Police have arrested five of the alleged abusers while raids are continued for the arrest of th others.
