SAHIWAL: Three persons died and 10 others suffered injuries in separate road accidents in different area of district on Sunday.
A woman identified as Arshad Bibi, 50, died and her husband Rafiq, 52, injured when their motorcycle rammed into a tractor near Chak 184/9L at Harappa station on Naiwala Banglow Road. A motorcyclist lost his life after his bike rammed into an electric pylon near Chak 82/6R. Muhammad Rehman lost control of the motorcycle which went into the electric pylon.
In another incident that took place at Government Comprehensive Chowk Sahiwal, seven member of a family got injured when a tractor-trolley overturned. Women and children are among the injured. In yet another accident at Bonga Hayyat Road near Chak 73/5L, a bike-rider died in collision with a donkey-cart. Muhammad Mansha dead whereas two women - Sarwar Bibi, 50, and Saira, 55, sustained serious injuries. The injured have been admitted to District Headquarter Hospital Sahiwal where four them are in critical situation.–Staff Reporter
