ISLAMABAD  - Additional Sessions Judge of Islamabad here Thursday issued notices to former Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz, concerned officials in Ministry of Finance and Federal Investigation Agency for filing an alleged false case against Secretary General of 56 Islamic Countries Advanced Education Trust. The respondents have been directed to apprise the court on July 23 with the relevant record. Justice Manzoor Ahmed Mirza issued the direction on the complaint of Zahida Malik who has pleaded for initiation of legal proceedings under Section 476 CrPC with 182 PPC for filing false case against her. She appeared in person and apprised the court that former premier got a case registered against her under Sections 420/467/468/471 PPC after levelling allegations that his forged signatures were used by her when she was serving as the Country Director Overseas Pakistanis Socio Economic Development Club. She maintained that the same court acquitted her of the allegations on April 24. She said that she had undergone mental sufferings besides facing great harm to her repute. After hearing her arguments, the Additional Sessions Judge issued notice to the former premier and the other respondents for July 23.
