KARACHI - All Pakistan Anjuman Tajraan on Tuesday threatened the government of launching civil disobedience movement, if it fails to maintain law and order situation in the financial hub of the country. They also threatened to give call of countrywide shutterdown strike against the lawlessness in Karachi.   Addressing a press conference at Karachi press Club, APAT president Khalid Pervaiz along with President Karachi Tajir Itehad, Attique Mir said due to the current situation of the trading hub, more than 60 per cent traders are avoiding to come to Karachi due to deteriorating law and order situation.Pervaiz said economic and financial stability of the country was based on the situation of the City and traders of the country took sheer initiative for the protection of this financial hub.   “If government will not give protection to the traders of Karachi, they will announce countrywide strike to show solidarity with the businessmen of the city,” they threatened. Attique Mir said the financial situation of the City was continuously declining due to lawlessness and lack of protection. He said they missed their Eid orders because of disturbance of supply chain owing to worst law and order.He said the KTI would not attend any of the government meetings, until the government will not take any concrete action to maintain the law and order situation in the City.
