It is reported that the Railway Ministry has recovered more than $10 million advance money paid to a Chinese black listed company for railway engines. The government took this wise and timely decision and saved the money of public exchequer. The prompt response by the government is an unprecedented step which should be appreciated as nobody previously has shown such resolve to recover public money. Pakistan Railways still need 300 more engines so it is hoped that similar concern and sincerity will be shown for further purchase.
