Administration to remain vigilant in flood season: Shehbaz Sharif

Rawalpindi: Punjab Chief Minister Shebaz Sharif has issued instructions to Rawalpindi district and local administrations, to remain alert to cope with the flooding caused by the ongoing rain.
The chief minister has also directed the flood officers and sanitary staff, to pump out stagnant water from low-laying areas of Rawalpindi, said a press release issued today. According to the press release, Shebaz has inquired from the local administration about the arrangements that have been put in place to cope with the flooding and other situations, as the Met Office has predicted more rains in the next two days.
