Dacoits looted a house, clinic and a generators shop along with huge money from the victims in different hits here on Friday.

They looted away a mobile phone shop in Gojra General Bus Stand area on Friday in broad daylight. Two armed men reached the shop of Azhar Abbas by a car and snatched away on gunpoint cash of Rs45,000 and a mobile phone. In Toba, dacoits looted a clinic and adjacent house of Dr Shafiq. Two men came there as patients and then made him hostage. They entered his house from side door and took away from the family golden ornaments worth Rs 250,000 and cash of Rs160,000. They also took away 20 batteries, 20 UPSs and three electric generators from a shop located near Qaim centre on Shorkot road. Mian Abdul Sattar a former councillor told that thieves entered his nephew’s shop by breaking outer shutter locks in the night.
