MANDI BAHAUDDIN-Press Club President Zaheer Khan said that he would curb menace of yellow journalism and membership would be given to applicants on merit after proper assessment.
The next elections of Mandi Bahauddin Press Club for executive body will be held in June next year, the president said. To a question, he said a group of senior journalists founded the Press Club in a building provided by district administration.
With cooperation and financial aid of TMA, local administration and political personalities, the building had been club renovated and furnished and it now gives an impressive look. Protest rallies by public are held in front of press club and press club members give full coverage to such demonstration to raise their voice.
