LAHORE - Balochistan Bazigar and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Falcons on Saturday qualified for semifinals of the National U-23 Football Championship by beating their respective rivals Kashmir Kings and Punjab Warriors in the quarterfinal. After a thrilling contest, Balochistan Bazigar defeated Kashmir Kings 2-1 to make way for the semifinal. Balochistan’s Pervez took the lead in the 16th minute while Kashmir’s Mustafa scored an equalizer in the 25th minute. In the 41st minute, Balochistan’s M Shakeel struck the second one, which helped his side win the match 2-1. In the second quarterfinal, KP Falcons beat Punjab Warriors 1-0.
