LAHORE - The New Khan Punjab Open Tennis Championship 2021 will roll into action here at the Punjab Tennis Academy, Bagh-e-Jinnah tomorrow (Sunday). Tournament Director Rashid Malik said that top players of the country are taking part in this prestigious event, where they will exhibit their prowess to win cash prizes, trophies, certificates and medals while the men’s singles winner will win a motorbike, runner-up will earn LCD while the semifinalists will also earn lucrative prizes. The event will be contested in different age group categories including men’s singles, men’s doubles, ladies singles, boys U-18, boys U-14, boys U-14 doubles, boys/girls U-12, boys/girls U-10, boys/girls U-8, boys/girls U-6. He added that the opening ceremony of the tournament will be held on tomorrow (Sunday) at 5:00 pm, where PLTA Secretary Rashid Malik will inaugurate the event. All the finals will be played on July 15 at 5:00 pm. Malik also expressed his gratitude to New Khan CEO Adil Khan Abdullah Rokhri for sponsoring this event and hoped that they will continue to support this beautiful game.
