Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar, on Sunday, said that Punjab has aced the tax revenue target of previous fiscal year 2020-21.
According to the details, he said 24.7 percent increase has been recorded in Punjab Revenue Authority's (PRA) receipts and over 18 percent increase in excise tax collections.
TheCM said that Punjab is the only province of Pakistan whose tax revenue has exceeded the set targets.
While referring to the impact of COVID-19 on provincial economy, Buzdar said that the special incentives that the government rendered to the businessmen brought beneficial consequences.
He went on to say that due to the untiring efforts of the incumbent government, country has attained a stabilized economy.
