PESHAWAR - Scores of Certificate Training (CT) and Primary Teaching Certificate (PTC) qualified candidates hailing from Peshawar on Monday held a protest demonstration here at the Main Sher Shah Suri Road outside press club.

The protestors demanded the KPK chief minister and authorities concerned in the Education Department to immediately fill up the vacant posts of PTC, CT and Qari on merit basis. The demonstrators led by Zahoor Ahmad and Ibrar Ahmad were holding placards and banner inscribed with their demands asking to fill up the teacher vacant posts in the department.Talking to the media on the occasion, the demonstrators said that the Education Department on April 15 last year had invited applications for the PTC posts in Peshawar.

 and interviews were also conducted for this purpose but the positions were banned due to the writ filed BY the Skill Development Council (CDS) in the court. Later on, the court removed ban and ordered to fill up the vacant position on merit, how much it required.
