LAHORE  - Pakistan Railways administration has served lunch to passengers of Hazara Express in Bahawalpur on direction of its newly appointed Minister.

The train was late for more than 16 hours and the passengers were served with Baryani and mineral water, reporter a local TV on Monday.  The Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique directed the management to try its best to make punctual the train departure and arrival schedule.  The Minister while addressing a function said that the Railways has had 465 locomotives, out of which 325 were non-operational and had become heap of garbage.

He expressed resolve to bring unscrupulous people in the department to justice.

He said that only one cargo train was being operated by the department.
