Four Airport Security Force personal, who embraced martyrdom in the terrorist attack on the Karachi Airport, were laid to rest in their native areas after funeral prayers.

At Mian Channu in Khanewal, a large number of people from all walks of life especially ASF representatives attended the funeral prayers of Muhammad Hayat in Chak 134/16L. The funeral was held in Government Elementary High School. No people's representatives were present on the occasion.

Muhammad Ramazan, father of the martyr, said, "We are proud of Muhammad Hayat. Terrorist cannot defeat us. He is survived by his wife and two-year-old son Ajmal." ASF Assistant Director Muhammad Yasin on behalf of ASF director Multan placed floral wreath at his grave. Guard of honour was also presented by ASF cops to the martyr.

In Chak 291-JB Gumtala, scores of people attended the funeral prayers of Muhammad Azam who was survived by his wife and three children.

Meanwhile in Faisalabad, two martyrs - an ASF man and a technician of Pakistan Army Bomb Disposal Squad laid to rest here in their native towns on Tuesday.

Pakistan Army BDS technician Sajid Farooq who embraced martyrdom at Pakistan-Iran boarder during a bomb blast was laid to rest here Tuesday at local grave yard. Earlier his funeral prayers were held at Sitara Colony.

A large number of people belonging to different walks of life attended the funeral. Martyr Sajid Farooq was a resident of Pull Abdullah Samundari Road. Similarly, ASF Sub-Inspector Tariq Mehmood who was martyred during attack at Karachi airport was also laid to rest at 61/JB Balochni, a suburban village of Jaranwala.

The martyrs were presented guard of honour at the burial.
