The Government Cluster Training and Support Centre organised one month teachers training workshop here the other day. The objective of the workshop was to train and sensitized PST's s that they can work effectively in the schools. GCTSC NPT In-charge Dr Malik Munir Hussain Kallu headed training workshop. Participants were given presentation on the measures needed for quality education. Question and answers sessions were also held, coordinated by DTE's Hafiz Abdul Latif, Malik Ushtar and Khaliqur Rehman.

Deputy Director Directorate of Staff Development Muhammad Shahid and DTSC District Officer Attaur-Rehman Malik also visited the training workshop.

Speaking on the occasion, they said that academic institutions equipped with a team of mature, educated and motivated educationist could play a vital role in grooming the youth. They asked the teachers to improve classroom environment by introducing more conducive and interactive atmosphere as academic standards and general environment of an institution reflected the caliber of its teaching faculty. They emphasized the need for grooming the students not only into healthy thinking minds but also as men of character and integrity. They lauded the efforts of GCTSC NPT in fulfilling its goals of providing quality education.

reception: A reception ceremony was held in honour of the newly elected The Farmers Welfare Association Chairman Summer Abbas here the other day.

A large numbers of farmers attended the ceremony and paid tribute to the services of the Summer.

Addressing the participants on the occasion, the FWA Chairman assured that he would try his best to resolve the issues faced by the farmer community. He also thanked all the members of FWA for his selection as Chairman.
